Ductwork needs to be hooked up to the furnace correctly to avoid damage. Air ducts often have to be adjusted and shifted during this process, and this is where mistakes can happen if it’s not all handled as carefully as possible.
The next step is hooking up the furnace to its power source. As mentioned above, we have safety to contend with when it comes to gas-powered systems. Any connections made to your gas line require an experienced and specifically licenses professional to handle.
The last step is connecting the wiring. Even gas furnaces have some electrical wiring, and everything must be done to code to prevent fire hazards. It’s easy to see, in this case, why you should only trust an experienced heating installer.
