It’s almost time to shut down your air conditioner for the year, but we still have a few weeks of warmer weather before the fall really kicks in. That means you are probably still using your air conditioner on a regular basis, and it also means that you need to keep an eye out for problems. One of the most obvious problems that can affect an air conditioner is a complete lack of output. Read on to find out what to do when this occurs.
Check the Thermostat
It is possible that the thermostat is just set incorrectly, and there is nothing wrong with the air conditioner at all. If your thermostat appears to be malfunctioning or just set incorrectly, then the problem is probably with the thermostat and not the air conditioner. If the thermostat is working fine, then you’ll have to check elsewhere.
